FACT: Today’s playdate could be tomorrow’s sick day.

Oh goody, a play-date! Good times all around…then their little friends leave, and their germs stay over. Oh, oh… Playdates are loads of fun, for kids and parents, even if you are hosting and the stress of it all puts you in a spin. We have some handy tips to help you share the fun, not the germs.

After playdate clean up

Germs are sneaky. Not only are they invisible, but viruses and bacteria can lurk on surfaces for up to three days. To keep illness causing germs contained, use LYSOL® Disinfectant Spray on the household hotspots:

  • Phones, remote controls, door handles – wipe them down with LYSOL® Dual Action Disinfecting Wipes
  • Faucets, Light switches, Computer keyboards/mouse – spray them down with LYSOL® Disinfectant Spray
  • Toys - re-wash stuffed toys. Wash plastic toys with soap and water. Board game surfaces can be wiped down with LYSOL® Dual Action Disinfecting Wipes
